ABOUT ME!

I am a surgeon who has been practicing general surgery in Lancaster since 1977. Between 1977 and 2010 I performed over 26,000 operations and attended about 4,000 additional patients who did not need surgery. My practice is not affiliated with any hospital; I am employed by my own professional corporation, Mid Atlantic Surgical Services, Inc. General surgeons specialize in operations on the abdomen; endocrine glands (thyroid, parathyroids, adrenals); removal of benign & malignant tumors; hernia surgery, and management of complicated injuries and soft tissue infections, usually refractory to the usual antibiotic therapy.

In addition to my work as a general surgeon, I have had a number of avocational interests over the years. These have included:

• personal fitness
